All apocalyptic writings divide people into two groups: those who will be destroyed, cast into the fiery pit of damnation & so forth, & those who will be saved, lifted up in the rapture, etc.

Our media simulation of society now divides itself into these two groups, on one hand are political, sociological journals that endlessly bemoan American decadence — the end of things as they once where — On the other we find technical magazines that see their clientele emerging through the flames of impending Armageddon glorified, into a brave new world of uninhibited geekdom. Between these apocalyptic poles fashion perambulates, glossy models pirouette sexually & youth imperils the moment in hip discotheques & cafes.

The Apocalypse infects our dreams — some more completely than others

…it takes place in some part of America, probably Idaho, Wyoming, parts of Utah area, many centuries after fall of civilization (apparently via Nuclear war but unclear as though the dream was narrated it described the fall of civilization not in terms we would understand but in the terms of the civilization in the dream — that is to say stuff like ‘The people being wicked God punished them’ etc.)

Just think, this dream is probably being had by someone else, somewhere else, only in their dream when the apocalypse is described as the people wicked and God punishing them they think yes, that is the way it will happen, the same dream in two different minds with different interpretations.

Of course this dream is after the apocalypse and the world goes on. Pretty shitty apocalypse if you ask me, but that’s the problem with apocalypses — they are on a spectrum.

Some apocalypses destroy civilization, and afterwards postal service is less than one might wish

Sometimes these apocalypses are caused by humanity, for example via Nuclear War, and then you have lots of scenic semi-destroyed urban areas to repurpose

This is why Illuminati Ganga has requisitioned Universe Ølife — the alternate in which Nuclear war wiped out a good deal of humanity, destroyed civilization, and brought on a nuclear winter during the mid-60s — for storage. Our main storage is in the Hibernia bank at Jones and McAllister

Some Apocalypses destroy most of humanity and then a small group of survivors must fight against whatever destroyed humanity

It was some time in a post apocalyptic future, most people were dead and I lived my life scavenging in the ruins of the city for food and so forth, the only main problem was there were millions of ants around the size of wiener dogs and they often chased after and killed us surviving humans.

And let me tell you, there was no feeding these cute little wiener dog ants, unless you planned on feeding them your self!

Some Apocalypes destroy the world itself

In that case the ones who are saved are the ones who meet the end with dignity and love.

But no matter which Apocalypse we get on the great Roulette wheel of destruction it will finally be over — the apocalypse that we nervously pick at the edge of our minds worrying over will show up and we can get on with the end of things
