Ask HN: How far are we from the days that banks are fully operated by AI Agents?

Just a few years ago, RBC, the largest bank in Canada, had me print out a web form and mail it into them to open an account.

We are a long way from the point where a bank will trust an AI agent. They are still working on trusting online forms.
