Ask HN: Is YouTube causing CPU spikes on Firefox?

debian stable, firefox ssr and everyone I know has CPU spikes to the point were the whole system is unusable.

privacy badger and ublock origin the only extensions activated; only on youtube this seems to happen, other video sites work correctly

Is seems to show me "Experiencing distruptions?" bottom left everytime it happens
