Ask HN: Should teachers explain in what sense the Earth rotates around the Sun?

I think they should say this:

Assuming that the Earth rotates around the Sun (rather than the other way around) simplifies the math and physics used to predict the motion of celestial bodies.

This doesn't necessarily mean it's the physical reality.

In fact, there may be no physical reality at all — your brain could be making it all up.
