Can we support RSS feed on HTTP?

I am using an old phone particularly a custom firmware Symbian (Delight). I was happy that internet stuff such as mail and RSS still works. However, I am having trouble if RSS is served via HTTPS not HTTP. So is there a possible consideration to support serving the RSS thru HTTP as well?
