Claude.ai outage for Claude Code, OAuth, API keys

In case it helps other people here... Claude.ai is having an outage/issue/problem with Claude Code sign in, authentication, OAuth, and API keys.

The incident affecting claude.ai is still ongoing and hasn't been fully resolved yet. While a fix was implemented, the incident remains in "monitoring" status as of the latest update at 10:55 UTC, which states "We are continuing to monitor for any further issues."

This active incident is directly causing the OAuth authentication errors you're experiencing with Claude Code. Even though the status page shows a fix was deployed, the incident hasn't been marked as resolved, which explains why you're still unable to authenticate.

Once the incident is completely resolved, if you're still experiencing authentication issues, you can try these steps:

Run /logout to sign out completely

Close Claude Code entirely

Run claude update to ensure you have the latest version

Restart your terminal completely

Run claude and select your Pro account during authentication

The OAuth errors you're seeing are server-side issues caused by this ongoing incident, not problems with your local setup.
