Iron filings go in the upper two layers, the largest is for waste material--animal or plant, below that is the agitator which helps unsettle the movement. Below that is a chamber for iron sand or reeds to break it down further. The final bottom container is biochar to filter the liquids for irrigation, below that is a funnel that water comes down from. This is a prototype. Use at own risk. If it saves a life then it was worth it. Best of luck to us all.
