Grammarly has announced that it is renaming its company to Superhuman. The company also introduced a brand new suite consisting of four products: the original Grammarly, Coda, Superhuman Mail, and a new AI assistant called Superhuman Go. Paid Grammarly Pro subscribers can access the new suite starting today.

To be clear, this is just the company's name that is changing; the Grammarly product itself is not going anywhere. This is not a case of a company deciding to throw away one of the world's most recognizable brands (at least for students), like Elon Musk did with Twitter (now X).

As for the four products in the Superhuman suite (Grammarly, Coda, Superhuman Mail, and Superhuman Go), you probably already know Grammarly, the AI-powered writing partner that helps you avoid typos and polish your prose across more than a million different apps and websites.

Coda is an all-in-one workspace that combines documents, spreadsheets, and applications into a single surface. Within the new suite, its integration is designed to make collaboration a little less manual. For example, it can take notes from a meeting and automatically create and assign action items.

Superhuman Mail (acquired in July) has been a popular tool for people who deal with a ton of email. The AI native email client can help with organizing your inbox and drafting replies in your own personal style. Now integrated into the suite, it can pull in details from other tools, like your company's CRM.

The last product, Superhuman Go, is a new proactive AI layer described as a "team of agents" that can perform a variety of tasks without being explicitly asked.

For example, while writing an email, Go can pull up a customer's account details from Salesforce and flag a recent support ticket you might have missed. This is all powered by the Superhuman Agent Store, which will feature agents from various partners, including the ones Grammarly released back in August, plus others from companies like Common Room, Fireflies, and Quizlet.

A Superhuman subscription starts at $12 per member per month for its Pro plan when billed annually. Grammarly, eh, Superhuman, says that existing paid subscribers will get access to all the new features, including Superhuman Go, through February 1, 2026, at no additional cost.
