Time is ticking for Hulu. But fans shouldn’t despair – the popular streaming service is going away but its content won’t disappear entirely.

Disney recently confirmed that in 2026, Hulu’s content will be fully integrated into Disney+. For the international market, Hulu will replace the Star brand starting today to become the hub for Disney’s adult-oriented programming.

Also starting this month, Hulu content in the U.S. will start merging into Disney+ to create a single app.

The change, Disney said, is in “preparation for a fully integrated unified app experience” with the services.

“Users will begin to see further integrations of Hulu across the Disney+ app as part of an ongoing and iterative slate of product updates on the homepage and beyond,” the entertainment giant said in a statement.

For now, viewers can still subscribe to the two sites as separate services

Hulu was first launched in 2007. Disney gained full control of Hulu earlier this year after acquiring it from Comcast for $9.2 billion.
