I Built 7 Websites in 6 Months – and Failed Every Time

Half a year ago, I set out on a journey that I thought would change my life. I wanted to become an online entrepreneur. I had the energy, the ideas, and the ambition. What I didn’t know back then was how brutal the process would be.

In the past six months, I built seven different websites. Every one of them failed.

The Harsh Reality of Chasing Ideas

Each site began with excitement. I’d find a niche keyword, brainstorm content, and start building. But within weeks, reality set in:

  • No traffic from Google.
  • No one cared about my “brilliant idea.”
  • I spread myself too thin, trying to juggle too many experiments at once.

The cycle repeated again and again. Launch, wait, frustration, abandon. By the time I shut down the seventh site, I was exhausted, broke, and questioning whether I should keep going.

Lessons From Failure

Looking back, I realized I was chasing shortcuts. I wanted fast success, quick rankings, and instant validation. But the internet doesn’t work that way.

  • Consistency beats speed. Building authority takes time.
  • Depth matters. A shallow site with a few posts won’t stand out.
  • Focus is everything. Jumping between projects killed my momentum.

Painful as it was, those failures became my teachers.

The Eighth Attempt: Arcana Calculator

Now, I’m on my eighth website: Arcana Calculator.

This time, I’m doing things differently. Instead of chasing random niches, I chose something I genuinely care about: Tarot and self-discovery. The site is a tool that lets people calculate their personal soul number and Major Arcana card based on their birth date.

It’s simple, but it’s meaningful. And for the first time, I feel like I’m building not just for traffic — but for people.

Why I’m Sharing This

I wanted to write this not as a success story (yet), but as a reminder that failure is part of the process. If you’re creating online and it feels like nothing works, you’re not alone.

Sometimes you need to fail seven times before the eighth one finally makes sense.
