Intel is reportedly complementing its Arc Graphics solutions for mobile APUs with Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics. According to the latest leak by Moore's Law Is Dead, this partnership is set to materialize in the coming years with the launch of Intel Hammer Lake CPU architecture.
Intel partnering with Nvidia to make graphics solutions for x86 products is, perhaps, the biggest PC news of 2025. Not only does this affect Intel’s datacenter products, but also the company’s consumer business, including laptop APUs and discrete desktop GPUs. Intel has claimed that the availability of Nvidia’s RTX iGPUs on x86 Intel APUs is not meant to replace but to complement Team Blue’s current Arc Graphics lineup.
However, Moore’s Law Is Dead now contends that this is purely marketing speak, as Intel will fully move to Nvidia GeForce RTX iGPUs with Intel Hammer Lake.
Per MLID’s previous leaks, Intel is reportedly following the upcoming Panther Lake mobile with Nova Lake, Razer Lake, Titan Lake, and Hammer Lake. All four of these architectures were previously thought to utilize LGA 1954, a socket that Intel is allegedly introducing with Nova Lake-S desktop CPUs in late 2026.
Intel has now seemingly changed its plans a little bit. MLID suggests that Team Blue has canceled the Titan Lake desktop CPUs and is only preparing Titan Lake mobile APUs with “updated iGPUs”. These new iGPUs may or may not be Nvidia RTX ones, unlike Hammer Lake.
MLID reports that Intel Hammer Lake products have been “redefined” to get a “new large and powerful iGPU” in 2029. This “large and powerful” iGPU is likely an Nvidia GeForce RTX iGPU, as an Nvidia source told MLID that Intel x Nvidia products will be here with Titan Lake, at the earliest, and not sooner.
In other words, we could see Intel mobile and desktop APUs keep employing Arc iGPUs for a few years to come before being replaced by Nvidia graphics in 2029. It remains to be seen what effects this has on Intel Arc desktop GPUs. MLID has issued a spec update for the upcoming Arc B770, which we have covered in a separate article.
