What…? Tim Cook was an advisor to Trump in his first admin, too. Trump used him as a token gay dude to look legit back in 2017.

Tim has used his relationship with Trump to make Apple more secure since Trump will only use Apple devices.

Tim has been playing a slick hand from within, and while the Government has crapped on Apple a handful of times like with tariffs and such, Tim is doing it to navigate the next four years despite the fact that he (and apple) continue to have extremely liberal core values.

Dude is a masterclass snake charmer and political navigator, and is closer than most to Trump even tho they have so little in common outside of wealth.

Apple is worth three trillion bucks. They have the money to buy some gold and cut glass and give it to Trump to keep Trump thinking he is adored. They are playing Trump by playing his ego.

Tim is slick as shit, my dude. Even though Nvidia is becoming the first four-trillion dollar company, Apple is getting through the next three and a half years without Trump damaging their brand. They still hold liberal values in Apple, hire gay and minority people, stay in California, and put donation money in liberal leaning coffers.

Art of war, keep your friends close and enemies closer. Being a presidential advisor makes Tim Cook uniquely able to make changes as Trump acts out, like for example, moving Apple factories to countries with smaller tariffs and having them open in time to avoid tariff hikes.
