Love-hate relationship you grow with your product

I’m a startup founder building in the consumer social space specifically a LinkedIn alternative.

I am not negative at all but while you are grinding for your startup, there are times when you love the product you have built and also hate it.

The love comes from the effort you put in, seeing it grow, people liking it, and the fact that you are pushing something out of your own vision.

But when this product and working on it also drains you, takes out all the energy you have, sometimes you start questioning its existence and everything around you.

I know there are lots of learnings, highs and lows in the startup journey but when you look at it from a distance, it all looks green. You have to take your chance and put everything in just to realize it has so many more nuances.

Am I the only one feeling this? Or is this completely normal for anyone building something?
