I Didn’t Expect to Love Microsoft’s New Icons This Much

Microsoft just dropped a gorgeous refresh of its icon system — and I am honestly into it. The new look, called “Fluid Forms, Vibrant Colors,” swaps rigid geometry for softer shapes, richer gradients, and a touch of motion that feels alive. It’s playful without losing that clean Microsoft polish. The update isn’t just cosmetic either — it ties into how the company’s thinking about AI, flow, and human-centered design. Big thumbs-up from me for making productivity tools actually look joyful.

ChatGPT Can Now Build Your FigJam Diagrams

Figma has launched a new ChatGPT app that converts text-based brainstorms into FigJam diagrams. Users can prompt it to create flowcharts, timelines, mind maps, or sequence diagrams directly within ChatGPT. The app can also interpret uploaded documents — like PDFs or text files — to generate visual layouts automatically. This integration aims to streamline the process of moving from conversation to collaborative design.

OKAY DEV® is positioning itself as a “creative dev & design community” aimed at connecting developers, designers, and brands.  The platform originally began as a private Slack space for creative developers and is now evolving to a more public, curated network.  Their X account describes OKAY DEV as “a social network built for creative devs, designers, and brands.”  A recent post declares “The Okay Dev (beta) is LIVE!” and highlights the goal of becoming a go-to discovery space for creative talent.
