My Django on the Med 2025

A summary of my experience at Django On The Med 2025 told through the posts I published on Mastodon during the conference.

This is the third time I collect all my Mastodon posts into a single timeline to keep track of the most meaningful moments from an event. I really enjoy this format because it captures the atmosphere and small details that would otherwise get lost after returning home, and I think it will probably become a regular way for me to document future conferences and community gatherings.

I plan to write something more about the Django On The Med 2025 in the next days, but for now I wanted to share this collection as soon as possible while the memories are still fresh. It feels like the best way to show what these three days have been like, without waiting too long to find the perfect words.

And a small fun fact for anyone curious about how this page was made: I automated the timeline creation using Python, Mastodon.py and Jinja, and it worked surprisingly well. Maybe one day I will share the code so it can be used with Pelican or Django, but for now I will keep the little secret of how it all fits together.Days
