MyMINI version 5.6 breaks Bluetooth app connection

I have a 2019 mini countryman that i purchased last may.
I have been using AAIdrive since I bought it without problems.
A few days ago, the "apps" quit connecting.
I am logged into the mini app, i have all of the settings corrected (battery not optimized, all of the permissions allowed, etc.).
I can connect the phone, but once I do, the apps checkbox is no longer available.
Is it possible that my car had the paid subscription and has now run out?
I grew dependent on my calendar, messages, and apps working in my car and now feel lost without them.
