and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.The Indian Armed Forces intercepted Pakistani missiles, drones. A complete blackout has been enforced in Akhnoor, Kishtwar, Samba and other Jammu regions.

Blackout has also been imposed in Amritsar, Punjab.

What are loitering munitions?

A loitering munition is a precision-guided weapon designed to hover over a target zone, identify threats, and strike—either autonomously or with human input—before self-destructing upon impact.India had targeted nine locations, including Jaish-e-Mohammed’s base in Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s hub in Muridke. Utilising advanced precision weapons and intelligence-based targeting, the Army, Navy, and Air Force coordinated the strikes without engaging Pakistani military sites.The tensions escalated between the two nations after Pahalgam attack that killed 25 Indians and one Nepalese citizen on April 22.
