The Standard cockpit configuration makes for a more upright, casual riding posture. This configuration is best suited to everyday rides, like commutes, trips to the store, etc.

The Battery
The TM-B battery is built to automotive standards, delivering best-in-class performance and energy density. It’s available in two configurations—Standard, which delivers up to 60 mi. of range, and Large, which delivers up to 100 mi. It’s portable, with a neat, fold-out handle, and charges via USB-C at up to an exceptionally quick 240 watts. More than a battery, it can also be used as a high-capacity power bank for your devices. DreamRide
DreamRide is a breakthrough in propulsion. At its core is a seamless integration of a series hybrid drive unit and software. In this system, there is no direct, mechanical connection between your pedaling and the movement of the bike. Instead, pedaling is converted into electricity by a small generator and stored in the bike’s battery. Based on your preferred experience (e.g. smooth and easy versus hard and fast), ALSO software then drives a motor to move the wheels. DreamRide offers a first-of-its-kind experience, one determined entirely by you, not the road.

Propulsion Features
Dynamic Riding
There are two main ways to ride your TM-B—auto and manual. In auto, simply choose your preferred pedaling speed, or cadence, and DreamRide will adapt to the road to maintain it. In manual, choose your gear like you would on a traditional bike, though with none of the sticking, slipping, or lag time. Because the TM-B’s gears are software-defined, the shifting experience is smooth, responsive, and immediate—like the perfect bike.
Assist
Assist is the extra juice the TM-B doles out to your pedal stroke, and it varies based on your chosen trim level. TM-B packs 5x assist while TMB Performance cranks it up to 10x.
Throttle/Assist Boost
Sometimes it’s nice just to cruise, and, on the TM-B, cruise you shall. TM-B is equipped with a throttle that enables you to coast along, pedal-free, at up to 20mph. Try it on the scooter-inspired Bench top frame for a ride that’s optimally free and easy.
Due to regulations in some states and jurisdictions, throttle will act as an assist boost in those areas, temporarily increasing your assist multiplier while you hold it down.
Hill Flattening
Hill flattening crushes climbs for you. With this feature activated, DreamRide constantly monitors the grade of your ride and delivers extra torque to the wheels on ascents. The result? Hills take no more effort to ride than flats.
Regen
When you brake your TM-B you’re not just slowing down, you’re recharging your battery. Regen works to capture the kinetic energy normally lost to heat as you brake to keep your battery topped up. The amount of regen your bike applies is adjustable through your TM-B’s settings.
Belt Drive
DreamRide is completed by a toothed carbon fiber belt drive. Belt drives require minimal maintenance (no lubrication, less cleaning), they don’t rust, and they can run for up to 10,000 mi. before they need replacing.
Visibility
Transcendent Mobility is all about feeling present as you move through the world, and that’s simply not possible if you don’t feel seen—visibility is an essential ingredient in the makeup of the TM-B, and it shows up in a handful of different ways.
Lighting
Headlights and rear lights have been on cars for about 100 years. Same goes for turn signals. Why must the bike remain in a transportation dark age? With the TM-B, the bike pedals proudly into a new era of enlightenment. Equipped with a 1500 lumen headlight, a 250 lumen rear light, and front and rear turn signals, the TM-B is well and truly lit.
Biomotion
As human beings, we arrive on this Earth hardwired to recognize the movements of other living creatures. And we’re capable of doing so with even the most limited information. It’s called biological motion recognition. Thankfully, many also call it biomotion. Whatever you call it, ALSO engineered it into the lighting configuration on the TM-B. Rear lights are intentionally designed such that they illuminate your pedaling legs as you wend your way through the night.

Combo Bell/Horn
Yes, you could just say “on your left” or “heads up,” but when you’ve got a super satisfying built-in bell/horn why would you? Simply flick it for a quick and friendly “I’m here,” or lean on it for an urgent and assertive “watch out!”

Your TM-B is ridden by you, but it’s powered by software. Everything from energy output and pedal resistance, to hand controls and user interface is software-defined. ALSO software was purpose built, from the ground up, alongside the bike’s hardware. It is through this perfect blending of software and hardware, mind and body, that the ALSO TM-B is able to conjure a riding experience like no other.

OTAs
Your TM-B comes equipped to receive over-the-air updates (OTAs), which means your bike will continually evolve as ALSO dreams up new features. From new Ride Modes to new ways to keep your bike safe, OTAs ensure your bike is always state of the ALSO.
Connect+
Connect+ is ALSO’s subscription connectivity service. Above all, it’s an enhanced set of security features, because sweating whether or not your bike will be there when you return is most definitely NOT transcendent. With features like tamper alerts, remote disabling, and real-time GPS tracking, you can think of Connect+ as your TM-B’s personal, tech-enabled watchdog.
With OTAs the service will continue to grow to include features like enhanced navigation. Further details about the service will be announced closer to first bike deliveries.

ALSO App
The ALSO App is the trusty sidekick to your on-bike experience, offering you full control over a range of features. Not sure if you plugged your bike in when you got home? Check your charge from the couch. Want to cruise home with the latest software update? Cue it up from your desk. With the ALSO App, not only can you unlock your TM-B’s full potential, you can literally unlock your bike simply by walking up to it (or, of course, lock it by walking away).

The All Terrain package is for those who intend to ride their TM-B off-road. The highlight of the package is Trail Ride Mode, a custom blend of ride parameters optimized for off-road riding. Parameters include: torque, regen profiles, wheel slip, traction control, top speed, and acceleration.

TM-B comes in two primary trim levels, as well as a rotating line-up of limited editions. Trim levels determine a variety of features from battery configuration to suspension, all of which impact riding performance. All trims feature distinct colorways.
TM-B
