Question: How do you catalogue digital resources?

Quick call out for help!

Here's my dilemma:

Over my internship this summer, I've gathered a wealth of architectural information, especially in the realms of sustainable and bio-based materials. Many different materials, manufacturers, websites, catalogues, etc.

I want to store all this information in a way that hits these few markers:

  • is easy to navigate (duh!)
    • maybe I could use some kind of tagging system? Say to mark something as an online library specializing in recycled plastic, two different tags.
  • is easily accessible
    • some considerations could be a plain ol' google docs, or spreadsheet of some kind. I could possibly use a platform like Notion for a more interactive interface, but I don't use it otherwise so it may be annoying to have it just for that.
  • is easy to add on
    • I want to be able to easily add and properly catalogue information without it messing up the order of everything else.

I'm usually a paper/physical documenter, however most of these resources are online so it wouldn't make sense to just write out links. If you'd like to share with me how you catalogue and store your digital links and resources, please reach out! I'm open to anything, whether it be some kind of platform or simple method in a doc sheet. You'd be a shining light in my budding architectural career <3
