Raspberry Pi CM0 is a yet-to-be-officially-announced castellated Compute Module based on the Raspberry Pi RP3A0 SiP (System-in-Package) found in the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W and Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3E (CM3E).
Since most Raspberry Pi products are announced under a strict embargo, I’m always surprised when I find new Raspberry Pi hardware that was never formally introduced. But it seems to happen from time to time for products targeting business customers specifically. The CM3E Compute Module was one example, and the CM0 appears to be another.
Raspberry Pi CM0 specifications:
- SiP – Raspberry Pi RP3A0
- SoC – Broadcom BCM2710A1
- CPU – Quad-core Cortex-A53 processor @ 1.0 GHz
- GPU – VideoCore IV GPU supporting OpenGL ES 1.1, 2.0 graphics

- 132 castellated holes
- Storage – SDIO (Compute Module Zero Lite only)
- Display – HDMI, TV DAC, 4-lane MIPI DSI, parallel display interface (DPI)
- Camera – 4-lane MIPI CSI
- Audio – PCM
- USB – 1x USB 2.0
- Up to 28x GPIOs
- UART, SPI, 2x I2C
- Supply Voltage – 5V DC
- Dimensions – 39 x 33 mm

- MTBF
- Ground, benign – 374,000 hours
- Ground, mobile – 32,000 hours
A Raspberry Pi Compute Module 0 IO board is also available with the CM0 soldered on the board. It features HDMI video output, MIPI DSI and CSI connectors for a display and a camera, a microSD card slot, a micro USB connector (for firmware flashing), and a 40-pin GPIO connector. We can also see some jumpers to disable wireless or just Bluetooth, an nRPIBOOT jumper, two through holes for an LED, TV out support, and more.
On the software front, I assume it supports Raspberry Pi OS. It’s basically a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W with a few more interfaces to be used in commercial products.
Pricing is said to be $18 when ordered in quantity. Since there’s no information about the CM0 on the Raspberry Pi website, I got all the details above via OpenEmbed on X. A DTS file in the Raspberry Pi Linux source code confirms most of the specifications above, and a forum thread where people discuss what it may be.
Updated: I’ve updated the specifications, after an anonymous tip pointed to the English datasheet and product brief, KiCAD files for the IO board, and other documents on the EDATEC website. Click on the 文档 tab for the documents
