How are searches counted?
Only successful searches are counted towards your monthly searches. Cached, errored, and failed searches are not. The number of results returned per response will not affect the number of credits used - responses with 100 results or empty result sets will both cost 1 search credit.
What's your guaranteed throughput?
The hourly throughput limit for plans with under 1 million searches per month is 20% of your plan volume. For example, the Developer Plan includes 5,000 searches per month, so subscribers to the Developer Plan can use up to 1,000 successful searches per hour. For plans with 1 million or more searches per month, the hourly throughput is 100,000 + 1% of your plan volume. While we have no other specific rate limit, we recommend spreading your searches evenly throughout each hour for the best performance.
What if I need more volume?
If you need more volume, we can offer you custom plans that fit your needs. Contact us for more information or check out some of our high volume plans.
Do you provide SLA guarantees?
We provide a 99.95% SLA guarantee with all plans. The SLA guarantee comes with a 100% penalty, and we offer credits up to 100% of the monthly price of your plan on your next invoice.
What’s your refund policy?
We offer full refund within 7 days of the day you subscribed to a plan unless you've used more than 20% of your searches.
What are scraper legal protections?
SerpApi, LLC assumes scraping and parsing liabilities for both domestic and foreign companies unless your usage is otherwise illegal. Illegal activities include but are not limited to: acts of cyber criminality, terrorism, pedopornography, denial of service attacks, and war crimes.
