Your saved recipes and organized collections are available offline so you can cook anywhere. However, AI features like recipe scanning, remixing, and smart grocery lists require an internet connection.

We're actively working on a full data sync and backup feature that will allow you to access your recipes across all your devices. In the meantime, your recipes are automatically included in your phone's standard backup. For Android users, it's through Google Drive Backup. This type of backup is designed primarily for restoring your data to a new phone. So, if you ever upgrade your device, your Bite Genie data should be safely restored.
