The Problem: Great Content, Isolated Classrooms
Teachers and the internet are full of amazing educational content. But there's a huge gap between a great online simulation and a tool that's truly classroom-ready. How do you integrate it into a lesson? How do you know who understands and who is struggling? Most teachers face a choice: use a closed platform with limited content, or find great content online that works in isolation.
A Third Way: The Classroom Wrapper
What if the answer isn't choosing, but bridging? I built a platform that takes any web-based content and "wraps" it with classroom infrastructure. With one click from an existing PowerPoint slide, any educational website becomes a full classroom tool with real-time data, AI-powered insights, and communication channels. The magic isn't in replacing content—it's in making it classroom-ready.

The transformation happens in one click - from a traditional presentation to a live environment where students are actively engaged on their devices, while the teacher maintains full visibility and control.
The Pedagogical Foundation: From Q&A to Dialogue
The Two-Loop Feedback System
The platform enables a powerful two-loop feedback system. The Micro-Loop provides real-time AI "snapshot analysis" of student answers, allowing the teacher to adjust their teaching on the fly. The Macro-Loop provides an end-of-lesson AI synthesis, analyzing the entire history of answers to reveal patterns of growth and understanding across the whole class.
Making Thinking Visible
By saving a history of each student's evolving answers to a single question, we make their thinking process visible. This transforms classroom discussions from "right or wrong" to a data-driven exploration of *why* and *how* understanding changes.
A Real Example: AI Face Recognition, Reimagined
Consider a simple web app teaching the basics of AI face recognition. With fireClass, this standalone app becomes part of a rich classroom experience: the teacher sends the app to all students, asks probing questions via the polling system, gets an AI snapshot of their strategies, and guides a targeted discussion based on real-time data—all without leaving their original presentation flow.

Modern Development and Reliability
This platform was built orchestrating modern AI tools like Claude and GPT, and implemented with the help of Cursor. To ensure rock-solid reliability, the system is validated using an extensive suite of automated end-to-end tests built with **Playwright**. These tests simulate entire pedagogical scenarios—multiple students answering polls simultaneously, real-time communication flows, and AI analysis cycles—to guarantee that the technology remains an invisible and robust support for the teacher.
About the Creator
This platform emerged from the intersection of mathematical curiosity and classroom reality. As a mathematics teacher, I needed a way to bridge the gap between brilliant educational content and the practical need for real-time feedback. fireClass is the result: a system designed for educators who want to use the entire internet as their curriculum while maintaining the personal connection that makes teaching effective.
