The inaugural Llama Startup Program cohort

We were blown away by the interest and applications we received to take part in our first-ever Llama Startup Program. After careful review of over 1,000 applications, we’re thrilled to announce our first cohort. We’ve chosen an innovative group of early-stage startups that span a variety of industries, including healthcare, marketing, finance, legal, software, sports, and more. While their use cases are all incredibly different, they have one thing in common: They’re ready to push the boundaries of what’s possible with Llama.

One startup is developing AI agents for end-to-end automation of healthcare administrative tasks. Another is using AI to help educators transform their text into dynamic lessons. A third company is building a Legal AI Vertical Agent that provides support for people and businesses. Those are just a few of the use cases in our first group. The startups we selected are using AI to transform coding tasks, gaming, developer productivity, and even automotive racing—and they’re exploring how text, vision, voice, and reasoning capabilities can help them take their work to the next level. We’re excited to offer them our support with access to the Llama technical team and cloud credit reimbursements to help offset the cost of building with Llama.

At Meta, we believe in the potential of early-stage startups to drive innovation in the generative AI market, and through the Llama Startup Program, we aim to lower the barrier to entry for getting started with Llama models. By providing these startups with access to our cutting-edge technology, resources, and expertise, we hope to enable them to grow and innovate faster and make a meaningful impact on the world.
