Trying to Blog More Often

I don't blog here as often because I tend to want to make posts about a significant event that's happened, or about a "topic". But honestly that's not what having a blog is about. I should feel free to write whenever I have a thought longer than a Mastodon post. I made my low-effort alternate blog for everyday journaling, and it's helped me realize that I just need to write more casually. I should write about what's happened during game nights, streaming, out on the weekend, projects I'm attempting, or just how cute my dog looked today (which I could capture on my photo blog). And even eventually I'll move everything back from my photo blog to here via Flickr or some.pics. And if I wanted to make a new blog based on specific writing or a particular topic, that's fine too, but this blog isn't one of those. It's my "city" and I can have lots of things on it.
