I'm an undergrad student who likes to build stuff. Sometimes I just look into the YC startup directory to see what really cool ideas people are building and get a glimpse into the future.

I want to support YC companies by making them more discoverable. This is a collection of fun, interactive games designed to test your knowledge of the YC ecosystem. It's a tribute to the founders and a playful tool for anyone else fascinated by the world of startups.

All game data is powered by an unofficial API. This API fetches publicly available information from the Y Combinator website's Algolia search index. It only includes publicly launched companies with pages on the YC website. Instead of scraping the website, it uses the Algolia index to update company data daily via a GitHub Actions workflow.
