Everything in Life Compounds

Compounding is something so substantial. You can do it with notes (Compounding Note-Taking), money, and in life (Principles). It is slow, but it’s the right way to grow.

Less is More. Don’t feed the algorithms. Quality beats quantity. Just keep going; over time, it. Be authentic; be you. If it won’t work out, at least you had fun and learnt something. Me on selling yourself.

More so, Success I’d call a life worth overnight fame. Because people see it as overnight success, but forget that you work all your life on it. It’s the compounding effect at its peak.

Unfortunately, negative compounding also works, such as negative emotions.

This thought came up with my wife on 2024-01-30: Not only can the above positive things compound, but also negative emotions. e.g., not talking about what you feel or something big in your life, like a crisis, but you avoid it. The consequences of not talking about it might be minor, but they compound over time. It could be as bad as you get a Manie. The longer, the worse.

I’ve built a business around the compounding effect. It’s fascinating to me to this day how it works, slowly, but surely. Knwowledge sure compounds over time:

I consider myself a slow writer and thinker. I’ve learned that knowledge compounds over time. That’s why I encourage everyone to invest in their own domain. Even if you’re not ready to create a website, pointing your Substack or WordPress to it allows you to start building up.
